LIFEGATE Denver Offers 11-Week Summer Ministry Internship for College Students and Recent Grads

DENVER, CO – LIFEGATE Denver is accepting applications for its Grow. Learn. Lead. summer internship, an 11-week leadership development program for college students and recent graduates interested in exploring a calling to local church ministry. The internship gives participants a firsthand look at what it’s like to lead ministry at a growing, diverse church in Denver.
Interns spend the summer growing in their faith through teaching, mentoring, and daily spiritual rhythms, while serving in real leadership roles across the church. Each intern is paired with pastors and leaders who provide coaching and encouragement throughout the program, and lives and serves alongside a team of peers. The goal is for interns to leave with practical ministry experience, a stronger sense of calling, and a tangible impact on the church and the city of Denver.
Interns choose a focus area that fits their gifts and interests, including worship and creative arts, media and production, kids ministry, student ministry, outreach and missions, spiritual formation, hospitality and guest experience, or administration and operations.
“This internship is one of the most direct ways we get to invest in the next generation of ministry leaders, walking alongside them as they discover how God might be calling them to serve the local church,” said AJ Garza, Coordinator of Communications at LIFEGATE Church.
