Vantage Data Centers appoints Ed Harnaga global chief marketing and communications officer.
Harnaga joins Vantage at a pivotal moment as global demand for AI and cloud infrastructure continues to accelerate and customers increasingly require trusted partners capable of delivering capacity at speed and scale. In this role, he will work closely with Vantage’s sales, public policy, sustainability, product and executive leadership teams to strengthen the company’s market position, support customer growth and advance its global brand.
“Ed brings the strategic perspective, leadership experience and communications expertise needed to help shape Vantage’s next phase of growth,” said Tench. “He has a proven track record of building world-class brands, advising executive teams and strengthening corporate reputation at global organizations. His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to scale our platform and deepen our role as a trusted infrastructure partner for the world’s leading AI and cloud companies.”
Harnaga joins Vantage from Pfizer, where he most recently served as senior vice president and chief communications officer, leading the company’s global communications organization across corporate reputation, media relations, executive communications, digital and social media, branding and stakeholder engagement. During his tenure, he led Pfizer’s first corporate rebrand in more than 75 years, directed global communications throughout the company’s historic COVID-19 response and helped reposition Pfizer as one of the world’s leading science-driven organizations.
Previously, Harnaga held senior leadership roles at FTI Consulting and Ruder Finn, advising Fortune 500 companies on corporate reputation, executive communications, public affairs and brand strategy. Across more than 30 years, he has counseled executives through business transformations, corporate transactions, public policy matters and high-profile communications challenges across the healthcare, technology and consumer sectors.
“Vantage is helping power the next era of AI and cloud innovation, and I’m thrilled to join the company at such an important moment,” said Harnaga. “Vantage has earned a strong reputation for operational excellence, customer partnerships and responsible growth. I look forward to working with the team to strengthen our global brand and tell the stories of the customers, people and innovations driving the company forward, as well as the positive impact Vantage is making in the communities where it operates.”
